Santee, 12u girls' softball team took 1st place at the SoCal State Tournament

Santee, 12u girls' softball team took 1st place at the SoCal State Tournament and is now headed to the western nationals Tournament in Oregon July 27th - Aug 2nd. Santee has never placed 1st in the SoCal State Tournament.

This is a great group of girls who worked their hardest and played their best to get where they are. They were undefeated in the State Tournament which was held in Lancaster, Ca this past weekend. They beat out 31 other teams including Bonita Valley ASA, the defending champions.

The Nationals tournament will kick off with opening ceremony events Tuesday evening, July 28. Teams from 13 western states will play at least four games during the week, leading up to the championship games on Sunday, Aug. 2.
