A 29-year-old Redding man was found dead on Keswick Dam Road early this morning, and officers are looking for the driver they suspect of hitting and killing him.

A 19-year-old Redding man broke into a pickup Saturday night and stole some of its contents, and then he admitted to several other similar thefts, police said.

Today will be mostly sunny with a high near 80 degrees, the National Weather Service predicts.

No drivers were arrested Saturday at a DUI and driver's license checkpoint conducted Saturday on Eureka Way in Redding.
