FRANKFORT, Ky. (Feb 9, 2012) - The Commonwealth of Kentucky has received notice from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) of approval and the awarding of a mitigation grant totaling $8 million to the University of Kentucky. FEMA will provide 75 percent or $6 million the University of Kentucky will provide 25 percent or $2 million.
